Jimi Galvao is a visual artist and graphic designer based in British Columbia, Canada.
Jimi’s academic background consists of a Visual Arts Degree from Lakehead University, a Diploma in Cultural Conservation from the University of Victoria, and several professional development certifications in areas of study such as online digital licensing and copyright. Since 1999, he has worked extensively in the arts and culture sector, applying his training and skills in various capacities at many Canadian art galleries, museums, and community festivals.
Jimi has curated more than 50 exhibits, managed diverse collections of fine art, produced digital content for websites, and designed graphics for marketing materials and films. He has also completed numerous design projects for government agencies, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. Jimi has had his artwork shown in group exhibitions and creative writing appear in a range of independent and mainstream publications.
